PROJECT EXPERIENCE Isolation of DNA from coli phages: 2 months project at NEERI though which isolation of coli phages from sewage water sample. Coli phages are the bacterial phages that infects and replicate in coli form bacteria and appear to be present wherever total and faecal coli forms are found. E. coli is the specific host for coli phages. DISSEERTATION WORK DURING MASTERS TITLE OF PROJECT: "Phage therapy: a promising approach for the control of bacterial fish infection in aquaculture" In this project I tried to do give application of bacterio phages in the aquaculture through the diagnosis (antibacterial phage therapy). Moreover, study also deals with the role of phages in the control of bacterial skin diseases in fishes.
