EMPLOYMENT SUMMARY

(2000-2012

Brief Actual detail works:

(Upgraded implementation and operation of BPCS 6.1)

In the AWAZEL Industries, I worked with the new upgrade from BPCS 4.1 TO 6.1 complete setup

on BPCS FINANCIAL Application and known the interrelations between databases in journal

entries (ghh, glh, gsb, gcr), a/r, a/p, Bil/invoicing, on DISTRIBUTION (iim, dst & ith, iwi, iwh, ili, iln,

ecl, ech, hph, hpo etc and on MANUFACTURING-mbm, mpn, mbv, frt, lwk, lrf, created BOM

data base, etc to be effective in the operation and maintenance of BPCS ERP, where we were

trained by SSA representative’s company Riyadh KSA. I was the MIS Supervisor to implement the

FINANCIAL, DISTRITION and the MANUFACTURING. Worked on the DTAARA inlibl for BPCS

security environment (BPCSUSR/T). Controlled the assigning of BPCS Security System and OS400

security to end-users. Our Connectivity software (fully integrated in Industrial City II, Riyadh,

Dammam, Jeddah, Kuwait, Dubai) is CLIENT ACCESS FAMILY through dedicated data lines, later

via internet through private rented IP servers. After implementation, I analyzed, planned, written

all RPGILE & CL programming and PF,LF data base requirements to augment the database engine

of BPCS which I tailored programs according to the needs of AWAZEL Industriesy, in the Physical-

Logical Files which I am well aware of the DATA BASE STRUCTURE from *DTAQ, ABK to ZZT,

parameters data base improvements of BPCS Libraries over the past 20 years. I was able once on

my own to develop websphere parameter connectivity with java script to access the pc via ip 80

that can log into BPCS or operating system anywhere in the kingdom, but was disapproved later

due to security reasons.

Practiced online-SQL, QUERY, SEU, SORT, SDA, DFU operation and function for immediate

solutions to the BPCS operation/maintenance and other subsystems that need enhancements.

Performed Critical Back-up / Recovery jobs, applied PTF and upgrades, processed BPCS Year-End

Closing requirements. Troubleshoot disaster in AS400 Operations, and BPCS when it occurred

and investigate errors by end-users and operators. Planned and implemented other workaround

solutions to BPCS Data Base engine application. I am managing DB2 administration. Given

solutions for technical requirements to run BPCS Operation and Maintenance under AS/400-170e

hardware, I designed pre-formatted business forms to incorporate in RPG400 / ILE printing

programs for automatic printing such as billing, request for purchase, receipt, issues, transfer,

returned items, etc. which BPCS do not possessed. Controlled Security System in the access of

end-users to AS/400 and BPCS Operation as a whole. Laid network cabling, coaxial, RJ45,

amphenol setup and assisted in fiber optics installation done by suppliers, in computer

department and in other AWAZEL departments, using green screen, pc in windows and client

access network. Organized Data Base by reclaim, rgzpfm command functions to rejuvenate

corrupted BPCS PF and LF data base, rewrite physical & logical files etc. Do other related jobs as

suite the all AG group of businesses, will prescribe the acquisition of hardware best suited when

ERP is selected. During board meetings, I prepared the presentation of the Chairman, in Power

Point and sometimes assisted him presenting in some areas of computer technicalities and

functionalities for the major applications in FINANCIAL, DISTRIBUTION, MANUFACTURING,

BANKING and TRANSPORTATION applications. I was tasked to write the REQUEST FOR

PROPOSALS (RFP), did research for AG needs and translated into technical writings, and

completed in one year as programmed. Distributed 30 RFP approximately 700-800 pages per RFP

companies, including big names such as JD EDWARDS, AVALON, SSA, MPICS/IBM, LAWSON,

INFORMIX, etc., were given 3 months in the hands of the competing ERP companies to respond.

AG received 16 out of 30 software companies who responded, local and international. I had,

singled out the work, evaluated the selection working more or less 15 hours a day to cope up

with the timetable and asked top 10 shortlisted companies to present their ERP to the Board.

Shortlisted 3 companies and ranking were 1.JD Edward, 2.SSA, and 3.MPICS. After many

deliberation to AG Corporate Consultant - WHINNEY MURRAY & CO., SSA came first, and JD

Edwards were the final competitors. Due to the less features in Manufacturing from JD Edwards

during that year, but strong on the other areas, AG Board of Directors and consultants have

awarded the project to SSA. AS/400 was a strong machine to host the BPCS selected ERP

software. I head one year implementation program on AG group with ARABIAN COMPUTER

PROJECTS LTD., implementation team, SSA representatives in Saudi Arabia, completed with us

the final implementation BPCS Application Software. This was my biggest accomplishments in
