Event Manager
After the hotel received the signed contract, the event was turned over to
me to partner with the customer to create a great event. Coordinated
everything from sleeping rooms to menus,
meeting room set up and audio visual needs. Also took care of any special
needs outside of the hotel such as transportation, off site dining and
other unique services.
During a group's event I was the go to person for the group's onsite
contact. I would check in with them through out the day to make sure
everything is going well.
After the event has concluded, I over saw the final bill and payment.
Managed about thirty events a month mostly covering companies in the
transportation industries. Also did a lot of work with government groups.
Communicated all the desires and needs of the group to the hotel staff via
written and oral communications. Provided leadership to the staff to
implement procedures to service a group's needs.
