PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I have worked in several fields and
industries: a certified personal fitness trainer for New York Sports Club; a graphic
designer for the marketing department of an architectural firm called Costas Kondylis
and Partners in New York; a production manager, technical director and light designer
for off-broadway theater shows, of course, also in New York. I was also a coach for a
Dragon Boat paddling team, which raced in New York, Toronto, New Jersey and
elsewhere. All these were in high-pressure environments where I have sharpened my
ability to manage groups, speak effectively, plan thoroughly, solve problems and meet
deadlines.
I also taught English, effectively, in an English Academy in Shillim, Seoul and on a
private, one-on-one basis in Mok Dong, Seoul, South Korea. The children learned well
and the parents are very happy with the results I gave them.
I am confident that as an ESL teacher and personal fitness trainer, my vast variety of
skills, abilities and experience will be of great value to my students.

Senior Graphic Designer, Marketing Department
Costas Kondylis and Partners LLP, New York, NY 2004 – 2008
Working directly with the marketing director, I was responsible for researching potential leads,

handled and created all the marketing and advertising materials including presentations,

Production Manager, Technical Director
Ma-Yi Theater Company, New York, NY, 2001 – 2010
Diligent planning is critical to the success of every theater production I have overseen for this
award-winning Asian-American theater company in New York. Part of the process involves
creating new ideas with regards to set and light design as well as technical workflow. My ability
to be able to plan comprehensively allowed me to forecast and react quickly to potential technical
problems. I had to be able to communicate effectively and clearly with the director, all the
designers and technical personnel to coordinate our efforts.
