CINRAM INTERNATIONAL INCOME FUND 2004 2011

Cinram is one of the largest providers of supply chain solutions for companies in the home entertainment,

telecommunications and retail industries. The operations are worldwide.

Financial Analyst

Reporting to the CFO at the corporate offices, responsible for worldwide corporate insurance programs resulting from mergers and acquisitions. Managed reconciliations, allocations and annual reporting on the $8 Billion global property portfolio.

Accomplishments:

o In the growth years 2004 – 2008, Cinram made 4 acquisitions. Managed the reconciliation of

insurance carriers and premiums resulting in lowering annual insurance costs by over 25%.

o Introduced limitation clauses that resulted in mitigating a major $$ loss in the USA and reduced

the overall insurance claims for outside contractors in both Canada & the USA.

o Finance member of the IFRS project on the property and facilities appraisals.

o Managed warehouse lease database for North America that resulted in a 20% savings due to

economies of scale and better negotiated contracts.

THE FITNESS INSTITUTE – TD CENTRE 2003 – 2004

Club Controller

Responsible for preparation of financial statements and forecasts.

Accomplishments:

o Lowered COGS for pro shop by over 10% by working with the Pro Shop Manager on inventory

control, pricing and purchasing.

o Lowered bad debt expense by over 15% by working with the Membership Manager to develop

and implement procedures.

o Designed and implemented new reporting formats for unit managers to better run their

operations. The Squash Manager used one of these reports to create various squash leagues

and tournaments to better serve the members.

GARY JONAS COMPUTING 2000 – 2002

Software Trainer and Customer Representative

Trained club controllers on setup, processing and reporting of Jonas Software and aided controllers on

reconciliation, customizing reports and analysis of client’s data. Worked with programmers to develop a

number of requested reports for customers and was part of the team that re wrote and updated all training

manuals to better serve the users.

SODEXHO MARRIOTT SERVICES 1997 – 2000

Presented and prepared budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to senior management, prepared account reconciliation to the Controller and completed monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting to CFO. was lowering food costs 5% and beverage costs 10% by implementing inventory and

purchasing standards and inventory costing software. Helped increase sales on non peak

days by working with managers on various promotions, menu design and better costing

numbers.
