Professional Experience
NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY, Raleigh, NC
2011-2012
Research Assistant dedicated to investigating and modifying the surface
properties of prebonded nitional wire and polyurethane film through the
careful execution of distinct chemical, helium plasma, and mechanical
modification treatments. Tested the pull out force of samples produced
using Instron Testing machine. Performed X-ray Photoelectron electroscopy
(XPS) and scanned Electron Microscopy (SEM) and wettability measurements in
order to define surface properties. Utilized Anova analysis tools to
analyze result variations on different samples.
PILOT PLANT LABORATORY - NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY Raleigh, NC
2011-2012
Lab Assistant charged with assessing and identifying methods to improve the
exhaustion rate of various dyes on chemically treated fabric on behalf of
Cotton, Inc.
SEION WATERTECH, Mumbai, India
2009-2010
Design Engineer entrusted with developing the design of reverse osmosis
plant, demineralizer system, softener system, and portable polisher for
water filtration. Played an active role in the plant's installation.
BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE, Mumbai, India
2008-2009
Intern responsible for meticulously designing a Mixer Settler for
extracting rare earths, which required quantifying the effects of all
factors impacting the drop size. Researched and reported on desalination
technologies based on multi-stage flash Evaporation, reverse osmosis, and
low temperature evaporation.
