EXPERIENCE:
Twelve plus years real estate transaction and litigation experience,
including but not limited to commercial and residential real estate,
finance, landlord-tenant, labor, corporate governance and mortgage.
Represent institutional investors in private real estate funds particularly
concerning commercial real estate, including negotiate and draft
acquisition, financing, vendor, service and construction related
agreements, brokerage agreements, retail and residential leases and joint
venture agreements. Represent mortgagee and mortgagor in lending
transactions, as well as initiate and coordinate multi-jurisdictional
foreclosure proceedings on behalf of mortgagee. First chair trial and
appellate counsel regarding real estate litigation, holdover and
cancellation proceedings, mortgage foreclosure, construction law, joint
wall disputes, status of apartments resulting from change in law concerning
receipt of tax benefits, contracts of sale, leases and option contracts,
bankruptcy, commercial, intellectual property, security and employment
litigation. Supervise and manage all aspects of e-discovery procedures.
Litigate throughout multiple jurisdictions, including New York, New Jersey,
Connecticut, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Washington, California, Arizona
and Toronto, Canada. Appellate practice before First, Second, Ninth and
Federal Circuits, New York, Florida, Georgia, California, Virginia and
