Work Experience:

Over two years of Functional Consulting and Project Delivery in the Salesforce.com Cloud CRM

domain.

Most recent and the largest Project I have done - H yundai Capital America, I rvine, CA

The client aimed to automate its entire Commercial Credit Loaning process while retaining the user

experience to allow easy user adoption. The result was a custom built application involving complex

m ulti t ier approval / workflows with upto six hierarchy levels, real time system integrations with two

i ncumbent applications and multiple Visual Force pages interspersed with complex data logics.

My role was to gather requirements, understand client’s must-haves and don’t-know-if-it-is-possible-

but-would-like-to-haves and map them to the capabilities of salesforce.com application. I t ranslated the

requirements to data models and drafted the User access hierarchy around the data structure which

was used for arriving at the roles and profiles for Users.

I d rafted the solutions design which served as the to-be guidelines for the development team. In the

S IT phase I prepared the test plans and supervised the SIT for the application.

Post UAT I conducted business User t raining and drove user adoption initiatives.

Based on the feedback given by business Users, I am currently driving an ‘enhancements’ cycle while

simultaneously laying the roadmap for the next round of good-to-have features.

Earlier Projects –

Application assessment – A mining industry client was looking to automate its sales function in

certain geographies. We conducted a cross breed CRM application assessment my mapping its

objectives with the strengths and weaknesses of multiple CRM packages. I was the functional SME for

salesforce.com for the exercise.

Proof of Concept – An Insurance industry client needed a proof of concept that its partner portal can be

reproduced on the force.com platform while incorporating the enhancements. The exercise required me

to do an extensive study of its existing portal and its pain points, and suggest solutions that addressed

t hem. These suggestions were then iterated with the development team to arrive at a final proof of

concept.

2. Sales Executive @Datamonitor Pvt L td - March 2010 to July 2010

A six month stint as a sales executive of business research literature and databases in the European

market exposed me to facing international clients and understanding their requirements. I t also

convinced me that I enjoy working in a cross cultural environment.
