retention of volunteers from across the San Diego County area. I conducted the research, polling, and
coordination with media consultants to determine campaign strategy and tactics.
TEAM Integrated Engineering Inc., San Antonio, TX Aug. 2009 to

Environmental Specialist supporting U.S. Forces-Iraq, Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq. I served as the
senior technical authority for USF-I, providing engineering support, compliance inspections and
assessments of storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and regulated wastes throughout 35
operating bases in central Iraq. Provided direct program support to U.S. Division-Center engineers for
environmental requirements for base closure and force drawdown.
Combat Support Associates, Ltd., Camp Arifjan, Kuwait Sept. 2007 –
Sept. 2008
Environmental Specialist supporting Area Support Group-Kuwait. I served as the environmental auditor
for seven (7) U.S. military bases in Kuwait providing full spectrum program compliance auditing
involving hazardous waste, hazardous material, waste water, and storm water management. I successfully
led a country wide environmental inspection with the U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and
Preventative Medicine. This inspection sited significant improvements in program management and
implementation.
Environmental Science International, Kailua, Hawaii Jan –
Sept 2007
Environmental Specialist providing hazardous waste management services and support for the U.S. Army
Reserve, Hawaii. I provided consulting support to Army Reserve Centers in Hawaii, Guam, Samoa,
Saipan and Alaska. I performed environmental inspections and provided training to facility managers and
individual units. I helped develop and implement the Environmental Management System (EMS) for the
Army Reserve, Hawaii.
U.S. Pacific Command, Honolulu, Hawaii April 2004 – Aug 2005
Environmental/Engineering Plans Officer providing environmental advice and support for all matters
involving Department of Defense environmental compliance, environmental standards and plans for all
units in the Pacific theatre of operations. Responsible for managing major real estate, training range
encroachment and land use issues as they related to environmental regulations. I managed the
Department of Defense overseas environmental governing standards for Japan and Korea. I represented
U.S Pacific Command on all environmental matters with foreign governments, State and local officials. I
represented the U.S. Pacific Command on official delegations to the People’s Republic of China and
Australia in support of the Secretary of Defense environmental initiatives.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, DC Jan 1997 – Sept 2002
Environmental Protection Specialist working in the Office of Solid Waste, was responsible for
administering the program the authorized States and Territories to administer Federal Resource
Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste regulations. I worked with all 50 states to
insure that state regulations met equivalency standards with the federal regulations. I helped reduce the
administrative requirements to States by 70% by removing years of layered additional requirements. I led
the development of the “Express Authorization” program that is still in use today.

Aviation, Surface ship systems, and Special Operations both afloat and ashore. Managed significant

valued in excess of $60 million. Managed over 65 military and civilian personnel.
