Responsibility Statement: Conducted on-spot research of news articles and photo archives to

complement reporters’ articles that included numerous databases, such as Nexis/Lexis, print periodicals

such as encyclopedia, legal and government documents, and also extensive historical news clippings files,

and knowing how to constantly seek factual information from the appropriate agency, requiring the

expertise of knowing whom to contact directly by telephone or email, duties demanding priority-setting

and keen time management, particularly when multiple requests came in from editors, graphics and

designers that ultimately demanded full participation in a teamwork environment.

Accomplishments: Contributed collaboratively every day to the needs of any of the newspaper’ section

editors, reporters, graphics and design desk teams who strove to provide readers of the Chicago Tribune

with the day’s news in a thorough and timely manner, which often-times resulted in award-winning

articles and photography. Teamed with researchers and photo archivists where individuals were frequently

recognized for outstanding performance at annual editorial awards ceremony.
