At HealthPlus, I published a weekly employee e-newsletter for over 400 employees, researched,

wrote, edited and proofed articles for several member newsletters, coordinating with various depart-

ments within the company and the commercial printer. I was also responsible for editing and proofing

all external company documents for grammar, style and punctuation.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT, GREGOR FREUND, SANTA CRUZ, CA -- 1989-1995

Gregor was, at the time, a young German software developer who later founded and became CEO of

Zoom Software which was recognized by PC Magazine as one of the leading software security com-

panies in America. I handled his mail and appointments, paid his bills, ran errands, provided food for

business meetings and served as hostess when Gregor needed to entertain friends and associates.

OWNER - OPERATOR, THE GREAT PUT-ON, SANTA CRUZ, CA -- 1984-1989

The Great Put-On was a small women’s clothing store specializing in one-of-a-kind hand-painted and

hand-woven garments - mostly from local artisans. With my partner, I ran the store, kept the books,

created in-store displays and attended trade shows.
