Home based medical language specialist transcribing and editing a vast
variety of worktypes and specialties including radiology, acute care,
hematology/oncology, radiation oncology, psychiatry and emergency room
reports utilizing the Escription transcription platform. Responsible for
the execution of account transcription operations to execute immediate post-
go-live quality, production, on-going maintenance of account quality and
turaround time as per client expectations, while maintaining expected
quality percentages on all transcribed documentation. Creates reports
consistent with client account specifics, MTSO and book of style guidelines
utilizing acquired educational and on the job experience and reference
tools to ensure the accuracy of the transcribed document, to include but
not limited to the use of reference material (paperback and electronic)

Remote/Home-based transcriptionist employed by the organization to provide
transcription services to various hospitals and clinics under their
control. Transcribed basic 4 acute care reports as well as specialty
reports and radiology reports. Executed knowledge of anatomy and
physiology, medical terminology and rules of English and grammar to
transcribe quality reports dictated by physicians and other medical staff
for inclusion into the patient's permanent medical record files. Edits

not on assignment): Commuting Medical Transcriptionist/Consultant, K-Force
Professional Staffing, Tampa, Florida.
Employed by the staffing organization to visit medical facilities with an
objective to consult as well as perform a multitude of medical
transcription operations and services necessary to assist and benefit
healthcare providers within the client base on a temporary and/or permanent
basis. Uses Internet, acquired and on-site reference texts, software
applications and other materials as well as network with other
transcriptionists on-and off-site to accomplish required taskings complying
with local hospital policy, JCAHO and AAMT criteria.
