Project: Real Time Process Information Management Systems (RTPIMS) OSISoft PI Data

Historian System provides a unified repository of process and business information which

automatically captures data from DCS and other systems. RTPIMS also provides web enabled

tools and applications to provide consistent information to relevant personnel for analysis and

decision support in real-time.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for client facing daily presence on site

Provide 24/7 on-site/remote support for OSISoft PI System configuration services and

other services as required by the client related to the project

Provide routine maintenance and support which includes:

Preventive Maintenance involving monitoring of client utilization, performance

and capacity of all system resources and technical infrastructure (CPU, Memory, Disk and

network), review and fine tune all parameters effecting the system, purging of system logs,

temporary files and functional elements (tags, etc), review and affirmation of backup

policy and backup operation, data management, archiving and purging, system planning,

reviews and recoveries

Remedial/Corrective Maintenance which includes the diagnosis and correction

of system hardware and software malfunctions and failures to restore full operational use

of the system in allotted response times based on severity of issues

Perfective / Adaptive Maintenance which involves application of patches,

upgrades and updates to improve performance or maintain and/or to keep the system

usable in a changed or changing environment

Provide ongoing changes to system configurations such as

Addition/deletion/modification of tags

Changes of alarm/tag ranges

Changes in graphics & reports

Develop new graphics and reports

System configuration management, including the interfaces to DCS, SAP, LIMS

and HYSYS

KPI Configuration

Facilitate knowledge transfer and help client develop in-house skills for the system

components (Servers and Software)

Log all changes in detail for follow ups & reporting, tracking and resolution reference.

Support for customer Training Development using Virtual Servers to Simulate the main

system
