Human Resources Generalist
• Employee Relations – First point of contact for HR on all communications, explain company
policies and procedures, research, investigate and report issues, resolve issues and escalate to
management as necessary
• Performance Evaluation – Monitor the evaluation process, schedule evaluations, prepare
evaluation materials, follow-up, collect and file evaluation forms
• Benefits Administration – Participate in annual negotiation with broker and healthcare
providers, prepare census information for renewal, update rate information, conduct
employee orientation on company benefits, follow-up, collect and process enrollment forms,
work with carriers on coverage issues and special circumstances, review invoices for payment
• Payroll – Remind employees about critical deadlines, prepare payroll adjustments, coordinate
with ADP on payroll reporting needs, manage ADP Pay eXpert (payroll system) and ADP
EZLM (timekeeping system), process and finalize biweekly payroll, resolve payroll issues,
work with Accounting Department on reconciliation issues
• Training – Assist in coordinating all HR-related training, attend industry seminars/conferences
and apply knowledge in the workplace, train employees on ADP EZLM (timekeeping system)
• Recruitment/Hiring – Post job openings, review resume submissions, interview applicants,
administer exams, prepare offer and declination letters, conduct new employee orientation,
process paperwork, run background checks, provide office tour
• Termination – Conduct exit interviews, process termination forms, calculate vacation payouts
and final checks, administer COBRA notification requirements, review files and close out
system records
• Recordkeeping – Maintain HRIS system and create personnel files, update and document
employee files to comply with Federal and State laws, file all employee documents, archive
old files, update HR forms and create new ones as needed
• Miscellaneous Duties – Prepare management reports for management, provide administrative
support to management as needed, run errands

Microsoft Office Suite, MS Outlook, ADP (Payexpert, PCPW, EzLabor and ReportSmith), Typing 60+ wpm,
