. Detail design and test plan for migration of RIM blackberry hosts from

Simple IP using LNS to Mobile IP using Home Agent with roaming and SIP

fallback capability on 1X-EVDO platform.

. Analysis and preparation of First Application Test Plan for the

introduction of MobiTv Streaming service for HSPA serviced clients;

packet quality, delay, jitters and security implications.

. Investigation and implementation of passive tap on FlexiISN to support

Lawful intercept for the HSPA/UMTS network and to integrate with

already existing solution on 1X-EVDO

. Design and preparation of GPRS roaming implementation plan for the

Telus and Aicent GPRS Roaming Exchange (GRX) interconnect using MPLS;

with consideration for DNS connectivity, APN resolution, Link

redundancy and WCDMA/HPSA network security.

. Feasibility design preparation for the splitting of existing LAC/RAC

into three with a view to reducing the paging channel occupancy on the

RNC

. Lead and assist in the architecture and design of value added services

based on established engineering principles to meet functional

requirements and performance specifications

. Prepare, contribute to and review project assessments, feasibility

studies, project plans and provide information, advice and engineering

. Isolating Data connection problems related to the new HSPA network

. Troubleshooting Mobile IP connectivity issues of 1X-EVDO and 1X-RTT,

and Motorola IDEN wireless network Technologies

. Isolating wireless network connectivity issues bordering on

differences in underlying technologies using relevant RFC and

technical document

. Part of the team that troubleshoot Data connection outage arising from

Nortel Starent, and Shasta PDSN mobility issues

. Implementation and deployment of expansion wireless mobility HAs, FAs

and interconnection with roaming partners.

. Isolating end to end data related issue from HRL, SGSN, and GGSN using

Goeprobe/Netscout NGenius,Wireshark

. Works with wireless network products vendors, to isolate network

. Troubleshoots wireless data device connections from end to end.

Highlights:

I saved a multi-million dollar packet data contract between TELUS and

Canada Customs & Revenue (CRA): Resolved a six months Mobile IP issue that

was holding back the commissioning of the project.
