OBJECTIVE

To secure a responsible position as a Graphic Design Specialist to take the

lead role in the design of corporate collateral and online support

materials for your company's internal and external marketing communication

efforts.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

My experience as a Graphic Design Specialist include: Translating practical

business requirements and objectives into creative print designs, such as

brochures, catalogs, newsletters, coupons, promotional materials, product

operation manuals, event-related deliverables, engineering specifications

for packaging and business reports; Planning content, graphic aspects, and

presentation of materials, products, and services; Refining conceptual

designs and ideas into packaging and product development; Producing high-

profile corporate communications, print advertisements, point of sale, and

trade show graphics; Ensuring consistency of design; Determining size and

arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of

type, and arrange layouts based upon available space, knowledge of layout

principles, and esthetic design concepts; Preparing notes and instructions

for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing;

Interfacing with vendors to obtain and specify print information, pricing

and advance the creative process; Perform Pre-press duties; Reviewing final

layout and suggests improvements as needed; Monitoring various phases of

the production. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles

involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and

models.

Software: Adobe Creative Suites: Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,

CADTools, Quark XPress, Flash, DreamWeaver, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word

on both PC and MAC platforms.
