Saatchi X
Creative Director **/****-Present
Oversee all creative for 16 (crazy, I know) Proctor & Gamble brands that include Tide, Bounty, Mr. Clean,
Febreze and Swiffer. I’m also CD over several other brands outside P&G including TracFone, StraightTalk, Net
10 and Telcel. Manage all facets of work within the dynamic Shopper Marketing discipline including: In-store,
digital, package design, broadcast and sales materials. In the time I’ve been here, my group received the
client’s highest rating ever given our agency. Our work has been credited with a double-digit jump in sales &
we’ve been winning a slew of awards.
Kevin Murphy Creative Mexico
Creative Director 8/2008-10/2010
After 5 very good years at Saatchi LA, I had an opportunity to move to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to work
on advertising, marketing and design for the booming resort hotel/restaurant/bar industry. My experience
helped several businesses establish strong brand identities and I became a cantina owner as well.
Saatchi LA
VP/Creative Director 3/2003-6/2008
CD over a $250 million division of the Toyota business. This is one of the largest accounts, at one of the most
a warded agencies in the world. Managed a group of writers and art directors with a large role in the
management of the group television production department. I completely changed the department to
a group producing award winning work that everyone at the agency was proud of. Heavy client contact.
Young & Rubicam
SVP/Creative Director 4/98-6/2002
Co-Managed the $130 million Lincoln Mercury dealer business. This is a tough piece of business, working with
strong-willed automotive dealer groups around the country. Fortunately, we had great success with the
launch of the Navigator. While there, I supervised a group of 20 writers and art directors in three cities. And I
raised the level of work to award winning status. Presentation to the highest levels of management.
Citigate
Senior Art Director 11/97-4/98
Brought in to freshen the creative department of the San Francisco branch of this international financial and
business-to-business agency. My TV background helped in an area where they had little expertise. Quick
immersion in financial sector advertising. Heavy design work.
TBWA Chiat-Day
Senior Art Director 10/95-10/97
Managed all creative for the Dallas office while still staying closely aligned with the mothership in Venice.
Recognized for my TV work for the highly popular Nissan “Enjoy the Ride” campaign as well as print work for
the iconic Absolut vodka campaign.
Mueller Baisden
Creative Director 4/93-10/95
In my second job in advertising, I was a creative director. I took over after the previous creative director of 6
years left. My time there was the most profitable in Mueller’s 11-year history. Because of our extensive work
with GNC, I had the opportunity to manage a big variety of health, lifestyle and fitness accounts as well as
real estate development and tourism.
Saatchi & Saatchi Pacific
Art Director 8/90-4/93
My first year in my first job as art director, I sold four national commercials. Something no one had ever done
before. Other work helped win two new pieces of business. My print work for the redesigned Camry helped
make the launch a big success.
