Summary
I "fish upstream."
(Components of this real world concept are an understanding of the habits and tendency of the goal. Successful
fisherman go to great lengths, with observation and adjustment to increase the quality and quantity of their
catch). This allows greater access to a better grade of candidate allowing for a higher probability for a favorable
placement outcome. This is no fancy move. This is labor intensive and requires me to touch the talent pool
early and often.

This is by no means a definitive science as much as fluid practice. It has a baked in margin of error. I just work
hard at drawing on my experience and honed judgement to mitigate the down side.
I "have my finger on the line" of the candidate.
( I'm excellent with both diagnostics and treatment. This requires a healthy dose of both candidate analysis and
candidate preparedness). It gives the candidate a clearer picture of the intended position resulting in both a
greater interview/hiring success rate as well as increased job performance due to the new hire being slightly
ahead of the curve as they are more effectively aware of both the conditions and needs of their new position.
