OBJECTIVES
Dedicated to microbiology and immunology with excellent technical, analytical and
communication skills demonstrated by three years of experience in a pathology laboratory.
Exploring career opportunities in microbiology and immunology. My long-term goal is to
obtain a doctorate degree in molecular biology or immunology, leading to a research career in
the health sciences.

WORK EXPERIENCE
National Health Care and Support Foundation
April 2012- January 2013
Research Microbiologist
Assist in design and management of research projects in the area of HIV/AIDS and
tuberculosis. Conduct and document research experiments under the guidance of research
supervisor. Responsible for preparing samples and related test media and reagents as per the
research demand. Assist in analysis and assessment of the resulting data. Prepare periodic
report and submit to the assigned senior research officer. Follow-up, monitor and report
activities on HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis and ensure that these are in succession to the
objective of the project. Organize workshop and training and assist to implement the planned
activities. Participate in related trainings and workshops.
Everest International Clinic and Research Center (EICRC)
April 2009- March 2012
Microbiologist
Conduct bacteriological, parasitological, virological and serological examination of human
clinical and environmental samples. Perform microscopy, culture, antibiotic sensitivity test
and molecular techniques like PCR, electrophoresis, ELISA, cell based assays and other
serological diagnostic tests. Prepare and inspect quality of different laboratory media and
reagents. Development of the laboratory methodologies, implementation and maintenance of
the cGMP. Assist to design, conduct and document different research experiments under the
guidance of the researcher supervisor. Maintain records and prepare reports related to the
work in compliance with EICRC policies and procedures. Participate in meetings, seminars
and workshops related to microbiology as well as health issues and implement information
accordingly. Guide students and laboratory staffs on procedures and techniques.
