Dr. Qiang Xu, Abilene Christian University Department of Molecular Biology
• Partnered with Dr. Xu to research DNA methylation in insects.
• Research involved extensive use of PCR to clone specific DNA fragments
extracted from m. domestica. As well as analysis with Gel Electrophoresis,
Quantitive Real-Time PCR, and Nano-Drop.
• Competent with Premier Primer design software which was used to create primers
for use in Reverse PCR for future experiments.
Volunteer, January 2006 to August 2010

• Volunteered at local foodbank throughout high school.
• Helped load and separate foods and prepare food boxes for pick-up.
• Worked in thrift section, separating clothing and working the front.
