2011-Present Cliffs Natural Resources, Inc., Oak Grove Resources LLC.,

Safety Program Manager

Responsibilities include the management and administration of the safety

program at Oak Grove mine and preparation plant. Insuring compliance with

Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) regulations. In addition, I

serve as the primary liaison between the company and MSHA District Manager.

2006-2011 Bodine Services of the Midwest Decatur, IL

Corporate Safety Manager

Responsibilities included the management and administration of the safety

and human resources program for five companies servicing manufacturing and

industrial clients, including power generation facilities; conducting

periodic audits and evaluations of these companies to insure compliance

with established policies and procedures; developing training programs,

including confined space entry, aerial lift/forklift operations, scaffold

user and competent person, supervisor training and other 1910 and 1926

related topics; direct administration of the worker's compensation

insurance program; administering corporate drug and alcohol program for

DOT, Non-DOT, PHMSA and MSHA employees and the design and implementation of

new safety devices.

. Implemented programs that drastically reduced the OSHA rates

from 7.24 to 1.58.

. Introduced cost control measures to slash safety expenditures

. Increased job safety inspections from a monthly average of 81

to 193.

2002-2006 Mississippi Space Services Stennis Space Center, MS

Safety and Mission Assurance Manager

Responsibilities included the management and administration of six

departments, including Safety and Industrial Hygiene, Environmental

Science, Fire Department, Lift Device Equipment (Crane Operations), Quality

Assurance and the Medical Department. Directly supervised 12 Safety

Engineers, 2 Industrial Hygienists, 7 Environmental Professionals, 17

firefighters and numerous technical personnel. Developed and implemented a

safety program for 5000 personnel serving on the Facility Operations

Service contract for NASA. Served as Project Manager on numerous Six Sigma

Projects. Served as the Quality Manager for ISO 9001.

. Consistently performed at a 98.6% Performance Evaluation rating

for a Performance

Based contract, which awards 98.6% of contract fees, based on

performance for all six departments.

1995-2002 Jackson State University Jackson, MS

Safety and Environmental Manager

Responsibilities included the management and administration of the safety

program for a 6500 student university. Primary specific responsibilities

included the safety oversight of construction projects ranging from $20K to

$22M; training in 1926 and 1910 OSHA standards; and hazardous materials

management.

Major Accomplishments included:

. Reduced loss ratio from 171% to 17.3%.

. Implemented a previously non-existent written program for

faculty, staff, students, and

visitors of the University.

. Trained 100% of all Facility Management employees in the OSHA

required training

programs.

1987-1995 Analytical Solutions, LLC. Morton, MS

President, Director of Technical Services

Responsibilities included client development and staff training for a

safety and environmental consulting firm. Conducted various industrial and

commercial safety investigations and audits to insure OSHA and EPA

compliance. Project designs and Contract Administration for various

environmental remediation projects including asbestos, lead and pigeon

waste abatement; and soil contamination remediation, such as TCE, Arsenic

and vinyl chloride. Collected and analyzed various air, soil and water

samples to determine extent of contamination.

environmental consulting firm for 8 years.

Industrial Hygienist

Served as the Industrial Hygienist for various commands, with the last

assignment being the USS Frank Cable (AS-40) a repair ship serving

Submarine Squadron 4. Responsibilities included the development and

implementation of various occupation health and safety programs, conducting
