proper account bill is charged to, entered the bills, printed checks and mailed.

• Set-up new liability accounts as needed for purchases of equipment, loans, etc.

• Payroll taxes - 940, 941, FUTA, state and local income taxes
• W-2’s
• Sales Tax - calculation and payment of on a monthly basis.
Human Resource duties:
• Benefit administration - setting up new employee medical coverage and keeping track
when eligible, on-going maintenance, and obtain health insurance quotes each year for
a new plan, if needed, working with broker to implement any new insurance.
• Employee maintenance - address changes, garnishments, etc.
• Recruitment of new employees, place ads for help wanted, conduct phone screening of
applicants, set-up interviews, conduct background checks.
• Process new employee paperwork (W-4, I-9, etc.)
• Work closely with management regarding employee issues such as discipline and
compliance with company rules.
• Work as a liaison with insurance company for worker’s compensation claims ensuring
claims are handled properly and paid promptly. Also keep OSHA logs on all recordable
incidents.
• Tracking of vacation time in Excel
• Advise and counsel with management on employee labor law and regulations.
