Personal Statement

I am a highly motivated, hard working, conscientious team leader with over nineteen years of experience in the plastics production

field. Seven years as a First Class Operator and twelve years as a Production Supervisor. I have a proven ability to meet production,

safety and quality standards with an excellent track record of maintaining State and Federal environmental standards while achieving

goals/results set by upper management. I've also been very effective in displaying leadership and motivational skills. I am seeking a

position in the Production or Industrial field where I can bring immediate value and strengths whilst developing my current skills

further.

Work Experience

Production Supervisor (Sep-1994 - Present)

Formosa Plastics Corp., Gulf States Rd. Baton Rouge, LA. 70761

As a First Class Operator my job responsibilities were to be qualified in all areas of the Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) Production Unit

including Control Panel Operator utilizing Texas Instrument DCS. In my Supervision duties I am responsible for insuring

production, quality and making sure all safety and enviornmental standards are met daily. I am responsible for the proper training of

all Operators and maintaining the P&ID's within the unit. I have been trained as a First Responder and as an Industrial Firefighter

through Louisiana State University.

Communications Tecnician (Sep-1993 - Sep-1994)

Louisiana State Penitentiary, Angola, LA

As a Communications Technician at Angola my job responsibilities were to maintain radio and security systems within the prison.

Electronics Technician (Aug-1989 - May-1993)

United States Navy, NAS Whiting Field, Milton FL.

While assigned to NAS Whiting Field as an ET3, my job responsibilities included maintaining equipment on all Air Traffic

Communication and Navigation Systems, while holding the position as Safety Officer for the division. I was also the lead

Micro/Miniature Repair Technician.
