Project Title : Automatic Railway Gate Control System

Using GSM

Platform Used : Embedded C

Domain : AT89S52 Microcontroller.

Project Description : We read news papers very often about the

railway accidents happening at unattended railway gates. Present project is

designed to avoid such accidents if implemented in spirit.This project was

successfully to avoid the road accidents at the time of train arrival on

the track. In this project uses two IR sensors to detect the signals from

the train. Signals are arrived then send the status to the

microcontroller. Depending on this status of the signal the motor run

either clock wise or anti clock wise to close or open the gate. Then the

microcontroller sends the acknowledgment to the station master through

"GSM" modem.

Another way to control the gate by using "GSM" modem. The "GSM" modem

send the message to microcontroller then it responds to control the gate

and send the acknowledgement to the station master through GSM modem.
