to help others become confident in their individual journey. My goal for the next few years is to develop my
skills as a Student Affairs professional.

Orientation Coordinator / Student Success Coach / Academic Advisor at Tri-County Technical College
January 2013 - August 2013 (8 months)
I use developmental / intrusive / appreciative advising to help students develop career, personal, and
academic goals. I also facilitate orientation sessions in-person and via phone/web. My daily duties require
proficiency in Banner and programs such as DegreeWorks, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
Intern for Healthy Campus at Clemson University
August 2011 - December 2011 (5 months)
I assisted the Healthy Campus office with coordinating the sustainability living-learning community, LIEF.
This job included creating and implementing marketing strategies, supporting the students' creative inquiry
class, and documenting their community activities through photo and video media. I initiated re-vamping the
Healthy Campus link for LIEF to create a space or webpage for sharing the highlights of the community.
Interim Coordinator for the RISE program at Clemson University Engineering and Science Advising
June 2011 - August 2011 (3 months)
I served as the interim coordinator for the RISE (Residents in Science & Engineering) living-learning
community for freshmen. This involved managing RISE students by placing them with roommates through
collaboration with Clemson University Housing. This position entailed academic advising, course placement
for RISE students (Chemistry 101 and an Engineering intro course) in collaboration with Engineering faculty
and staff, conflict/crisis management, event planning, policy making/programming.
Intern for General Engineering Advising Center at Clemson University
May 2011 - July 2011 (3 months)
I advised Freshmen and Transfer students at summer orientation, which included assisting them with
registering for courses. I met parents of incoming freshmen to answer questions regarding the Dept of
General Engineering and its living-learning community, RISE (Residents in Science and Engineering).

I started volunteering with the Clemson Women's Alumni Council in 2008 and have served as a local area rep
for Seneca and Greenville. I am currently a Greenville area rep and Executive Board Secretary. Our causes
are the Anna Maria Calhoun Clemson memorial project and a scholarship for Clemson women. Go Tigers!
