Objective:
To secure a position that can utilize my 30 plus years of experience in the printing, copying, mailing industry.
Qualifications:
I joined a “Quick Print” shop (Hartford Pro Graphics) that was doing $75,000 a year as manager. Five years
later I had increased sales to $755,000 by adding Apple computers, 2 color presses, mailing equipment and
high-speed copiers, and the first Cannon CLC 500 color copier in the Hartford, Connecticut area. This
addition opened a whole new customer base (walk ins) and added sales to the industrial base. Two front
counter persons were hired to take care of the increase in business. I personally train them on the black and
color copiers and how to deal with customers. High-speed copies increased to over 1,000,000 units a month
with spurts of over 2,000,000. Because of the high volume, the Kodak service reps showed me how to do
PMs on the 2 Kodak 300 high-speed copiers which included changing photorecptors, developer and corona
wires. Down time was now down to a minimum.
Sales and customer service was also my responsibility. I would pickup and delivery many of the jobs so I
could talk face to face with the customer. Implemented just in time (JIT) delivers to many of them. Negotiated
leases and purchases of all machines. Established blanket orders on paper stocks saving thousands of dollars.
Participated in trade shows to show case what we had to offer. Attended national printing shows.
As manager I had hands on experience on all equipment in the shop.

As a mechanical inclined fast learner, I have the ability to pick up complex issues in one or two sessions
and work independently. Interacting with customers to help solve small issues before they become large
ones is one of the things I do well, in selling is another.

High school graduate, 2 years college, honorable discharge USAF, non-smoker, drug free, can
pass a security clearance (secret), driving record clean (over 30 years)
