• Designed and implemented a region-wide recruitment, behavior-based interviewing and skill matching
procedure
• Manage daily operations of the Spring Creek Inn and ensure overall facility profitability

• Spring Creek Inn reached an 80% occupancy rate in less than a 3 year period.
• Revenue increased to over 2.4 million a year, reaching breakeven point ahead of schedule.
• Managed the initial staffing and training of personnel before opening to current (80 employees). Applied all
company, state and federal regulations for human resource.
• Assisted in the developing and training of specialized dementia training on a monthly basis for all employees.
• Negotiated a contract with local businesses for an evacuation plan.
• Received first state audit 3 months after opening, had 3 punches. Received 2nd state audit 14 months after
opening, was “punch free”. Next state audit is in 2015.
• Spring Creek Inn was designated to be the “Training” building within the Koelsch Senior Communities
Corporation within a 2 year period of time.
