I am a reliable and hardworking student at Otago University who has completed a BSc
i n chemistry at Otago University, and am currently 3 years into my Bachelor of Physical
E ducation. Dur ing my t ime at Otago University, I completed a six month Student
E xchange Programme, was part of many sports teams and was involved in student-
based film making groups.
I am currently employed as a video tutor and make weekly videos to help assistance high
school students in understanding and achieving highly in chemistry and have just

recently be offered the opportunity to create a weekly comic strip for a local
entertainment site.
People would describe me as enthusiastic, outgoing, bold, and probably a bit of a r isk
t aker. and my spare t ime I am a competitive cross country runner, road cyclist and
Netballer and also enjoy sketching, film making, astrology, and overseas t ravel.
As a result of completing my degree, living overseas and obtaining previous work
experience in I am able to work independently or in a team with confidence, can adapt
easily to new situations and more importantly know exactly what I want and how to
achieve it.

I completed a one semester exchange programme at UCD where I studied pharmacology
and exercise science based papers.

I have completed BSc in chemistry at Otago University and have one year left until I
have completed BSc honours degree. The third level papers I completed were as follows:
I norganic chemistry (B), Biological chemistry (B), Environmental chemistry (B-),
O rganic chemistry (B+), Forensic chemistry (B), Critical analysis: A signature of
b iological activity: Cadmium fractionation of sea water (B+).
I have also completed 3 years of BPhEd majoring in exercise sport science and exercise

My main responsibility was to test and analysis milk powder and other milk
p roducts to determine their physical and chemical properties.

I carried out a product t r ial for Dicalcic superphosphate at Ravensdown
fertilisers, Otago. I t was my responsibili ty to complete a ten week t r ial to
determine the optimum particle sizes of super phosphate and limestone for
i ncreased phosphate absorption. The t r ial required precise measurements to
ensure accurate using UV- vis.
