employed for various marine companies.

. Operations manager in a marine and other transportation environments

that continuously ran 24/7

. Effectively monitoring and tracking of equipment and cargo to

completion of operations

. Collection and issue of documents regarding banking, CBP codes

regarding export and import requirements for A.M.S. & A.E.S. systems

in local and/or foreign ports

. Assure that all parties are properly updated and quickly informed of

any changes in cargo or repair operations and/or additional

requirements for effective operations

. Provided estimated port expenses, negotiated contracts, researched

cargo and port projects or expenses in various ports along the gulf

coast for various principles

. Solely arranged and managed the key elements of vessel cargo or

repairs, logistics and coordination for 40-60 vessels a month

including various tankers, refer and liner ships while dealing with

the training and turnover of new personnel on a daily bases

. Coordinate and communicate with shipping personnel to assure proper

information, procedures and equipment requirements are arranged for

daily and long term operations

. Working with various shippers, receivers, U.S.C.G., Solas, marine

P&L clubs and Class surveyors, salvage maters in compliance of all

cargo and vessel damage, force majeure situations & documentation

issues

. Experience with stevedores and freight forwarders in the movement of

bulk, general/break-bulk, frozen cargos, rail and container

requirements

. Coordination of all cargo & equipment including operational movements to

alternative and/or mobile locations as required

. Responsibility regarding clerking for cargo counts and appropriately

marked cargo to be loaded and discharged from ocean- going vessels,

barges, trucks, containers and rail cars as instructed

. Observing and gaining working knowledge of stowage with various cargo in

barges and vessels regarding securing and dunnage requirements for

brace, lashing and separation of cargo requirements

. Observant to stevedore rigging & equipment requirements for various cargo

operations

. Understanding of vessel and shore equipment and certificate

requirements, stowage plans and stowage factors concerning vessel's

stability and expected time for loading and discharge planning

. Arrange and confirm all C.B.P. documentation & transportation

requirements for ship, barge and various cargo requirements

. Experience with confirming load orders, terminal tariffs and berthing

requirements

. Experience with barge fleets and barge lines for tracking, placement

and shifting of barges

. Experience with vessel & barging logistics regarding lay days,

dispatch and demurrage

. Use of weather networks and radar systems for predictions in cargo

operations

. Arrange and placement of cargo separations, lashing and material

requirements when applicable

. Familiar with vessel, rig, barge, equipment and labor movements as

required in order to avoid any delays in cargo and repair operations

. Coordinate with agents, owners, charterers and any customers in order

to complete cargo and repair operations successfully

. Knowledge of mates receipt, cargo manifest, bill of lading and

clausing issues as per charter party requirements and/or instructions

. Coordination of any/all cargo, additional barge or vessel survey

requirements when applicable.

. Advised masters, shippers, receivers of cargo and safety hazards that

may be incurred during cargo and transit operations

. Experience with stevedores, railroad, trucking and container

requirements, coordinating operational movements as required

. Developed methods to quickly train new employees for job requirements

. Gained working knowledge of Gulf ports from Mobile to Galveston

. Worked with Ceres Gulf Stevedore for 6 months learning warehouse and

safety requirements

. Managed various and numerous ship collisions and groundings including

various other sources of perplexity or vexation situation incurred

. Stevedored ships at various grain elevators in the Mississippi River

. Coordinated marine launch and land transportation for pilot, crew and

vessel operations in anchorages on the Mississippi River

. Retired U.S.C.G. licensed tug captain, launch boat operator, AB

seaman and deckhand

. U.S.C.G. Governor Nichols Traffic Light coordinating vessel traffic

around Algiers Point.

. I gained working knowledge of G.P.S., radar systems and chart

navigation during my studies for my Marine license and used those

skills during coastwise voyages
