Dear Sir/Madam,

Reference to vacancy for the security officer position, I consider

this an honor and a privilege to present before you my letter of

application for employment to your organization. I was formerly enlisted in

the Royal Bahamas Police Force, where I was posted to numerous Police

Stations in Freeport, Grand Bahama and Nassau, Bahamas, including special

duty attachments, Police Aide to the Governor General (highest political

office in the Bahamas). Within these areas my duties were station orderly,

diarist, mobile patrol, case file preparation and as a Police Aid I came to

understand governmental security protocols. My last assignment was at the

Security & Intelligence Branch (S.I.B) the National Investigation Bureau of

the Bahamas. As a lead investigator I initiated numerous investigations

that lead to the arrest and apprehension of suspects. My duties were

surveillance, informant handling, producing geographical reports,

intelligence sharing with relevant authorities, interrogations or witnesses

and suspects, evidence collection, etc. . I possess about five years of

supervisory field investigative experience in law enforcement. One of my

last cases ended with me testifying in supreme court as to my involvement

in a drug investigation, where surveillance was conducted and the suspects

were ultimately arrested and charged. Additional skills I possess is the

vetting of potential government employees and Protection for Diplomats and

governmental officials. Thus, I provided protection for Prince Henry of

Wales "Prince Harry" on his recent visit in 2012 to the Bahamas to

celebrate the Queen's jubilee.

On September 4th 2012 after twelve years as a member of the Royal

Bahamas Police Force I officially resigned with intentions of relocating to

New York, U.S. For six months I was employed with I.C.S Security Concepts

as a Security Supervisor in charge of numerous accounts, namely Sandals

Hotel, Exuma, Bahamas, Security Administrator for BAF Insurance company,

Bahamas Telecommunication company (BTC), and responsible for Installation &

Administration for The Bahamas Government Electronic Monitoring program.

Over the years I learned the importance of law enforcement and security in

every industry and can appreciate the safe guards and procedures when

visiting organizations.

I am constantly in pursuit of knowledge and advancement, thus I have

completed an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts

Degree in Criminology from Le Moyne College, Syracuse, New York. My future

aspiration is to pursue a master's degree in management to enhance my

career. Therefore, I look forward to the challenges, and responsibilities

that are required to carry out duties of this post. The qualities that I

possess with my law enforcement experience and my educational background

clearly depict my capabilities. Enclosed, you will find my resume that I

have provided for your careful perusal, so that it can assist you further

in your decision making process.

I look forward with great anticipation to an audience with you in the

very near future.
