. New I-64 - $500M, 2-year accelerated design / build highway construction
project that spanned
approximately 10 miles from I-270 in St. Louis County to Kingshighway
Boulevard in St. Louis City,
Missouri. Work scope included 22 signalized intersections, corridor
lighting, and ITS deployment
(CCTV / DMS sites and fiber optic cable installations). Controlled work
and performance of 2 project
managers and 49+ field personnel. Accountable for design, material
procurement, and quality
assurance / control. Project was largest of its kind in state of
Missouri and 2010 America's
Transportation Awards Grand Prize Winner by AASHTO, AAA, and U.S.
Chamber of Commerce.
. Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) E & F - $4M, 2-year highway
construction project in downtown St. Louis City, Missouri that was
partnership with Board of Public Service. Work scope included
installation of heavy underground utility raceways, removal / replacement
of 80+ traffic control cabinets, fiber optic cable installation, and
placement of CCTV devices at several signalized intersections. Project
was completed on-schedule and within-budget and greatly assisted city
engineers in managing alternate traffic patterns upon closure of I-64
from I-270 to Kingshighway.
