grading, concrete retaining walls, asphalt, CMU and MSE (modular block) walls were all part of the Scope of
Work for this $ 800,000+ Bid/build project with an executed modification for MSE wall completion.

Pyramid Services, Inc., Santa Ana, Ca.- Performed contract requirements for supervision and Three Phase
Quality Control per U.S. Army Corps standards for the design/build Bldg 1663, 29 Palms MCAGCC. 6000
gallon domestic hot water tanks, associated pumps, heat exchangers, valves, plumbing and concrete pads have
been demoed and new installations provided for service to four barracks. New multiple point Metasys Direct
Digital Controls (DDC) system also installed for flow and temperatures and commissioning performed in
partnership with the ROICC and PWD Offices for this $ 700,000 project.

Allen Engineering Contractor, Inc., San Bernardino, Ca.- Performed contract requirements of the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineering (USACE) Three Phase Control System for the extensive $ 4.6M barracks renovation,
BEQ 1464, 29 Palms MCAGCC, NAVFAC SW. Duties included performing daily electronic QC Reports and
inspections of materials for compliance and of work performed, preparing and leading Preparatory and Initial
Phase Meetings and Follow Up work and conducting weekly QC Meetings in the observance of the USACE
system and plans and specifications, scheduling and overseeing special inspectors on site, maintaining a
Testing Log and Rework Items List, generating RFIs, updating As-Built drawings and providing guidance to
the customer to in terms of change order modifications and how to best achieve “value added” to the project .
Also responsible for reviewing and preparing submittals and maintaining a Submittal Register and Log.
Ensuring OSHA / EM-385 1.1 Safety compliance is another facet of this position. The scope of work included
demolition, asbestos abatement, new mechanical and domestic water systems, HVAC, electrical, drywall,
doors and hardware, flooring and roofing. This project logged more than 20,000 man hours.

Peter Vander Werff Const., Inc., El Cajon, Ca. –Honored with AAA Naval Contractor Rating.
Completed executing the USACE Three Phases of Control system for the concrete and structural steel $ 4M
high profile Weapons Dynamics RDT & E Center, Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, California.
Among numerous other contractual obligations, responsible for reviewing and preparing more than 200
submittals and maintaining a Submittal Register and Log. The scope of work included extensive excavation,
concrete, underground and overhead MEP, telecom, interior finishes and large scale structural steel and
insulated panels for this 82 foot tall ordinance testing facility. Safety procedures are demonstrated in
observance of AHAs (Activity Hazard Analysis) and the EM-385-1-1. An “Outstanding” Evaluation was
received for this unique technical project from NAVFAC SW. It was completed on time and there were
no lost time accidents for more than 18,000 man hours on site.

Soltek Pacific Construction, Inc., San Diego, Ca.
Performed both of these roles for the construction of one laboratory and two testing facilities at the NAWS,
China Lake, California for NAVFAC SW with a total valuation of $ 16M. The scope of work included site
preparation, underground MEP (low and high voltage, fiber optic lines, water main, fire main, sewer) and
concrete forming, reinforcement and placement. There were no lost time incidences or violations recorded.

Halbert Construction, Inc., El Cajon, Ca.
Completed the Seismic Upgrade to Warehouses 402, 404 and 4 at the Marine Corp Logistics Base Barstow,
California. Exercised the USACE Quality Control system, with its three phases of control for NAVFAC SW.
Conducted bi-weekly QC Meetings and executed daily electronic QC Reports and inspections along with
updating logs and as-built drawings. Project work included 370,000 square foot PVC membrane reroof,
asbestos panel (transite) abatement, demolition and extensive interior seismic framing upgrades. An
“Outstanding” evaluation was received for this nearly $ 2,000,000 project with no lost time accidents.

Successfully performed the three functions of Superintendent, Safety Officer and Quality Control Manager for
the two wing addition to the Yermo Fire Station, Marine Corp Logistics Base Barstow, California. Performed
procurement duties in acquiring low bids from subcontractors and provided start to finish supervision. Also
provided electronic daily reports and held QC and production meetings for these three distinct job functions.
The building was occupied 24/7 and a great deal of coordination was necessary with the customer. An
“Outstanding” evaluation for this design- build project was received from NAVFAC SW. It was also
completed on time and within budget with no lost time accidents.

2003 Coachella Valley Non- Profit of the Year Award recipient, providing vocational training in
construction trades and producing new affordable housing. Duties included blueprint revision and
