WORK EXPERIENCE
Maintenance Team Leader (2/2010 - Present)
Mercedes Benz International, Vance, AL
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance in the body shop. I assisted the crew
members when the help was needed in all aspects of troubleshooting and the
repair of the equipment. I entered the team's worked time into People's Soft. I
was required to order all lineside stocked parts. I also created all work order
reports including the 5-why breakdown sheets. I helped maneuver manpower
throughout the shop as needed. I also was in charge of scheduling all work to be
done on weekends and shutdowns correlating with production and contractor
needs.
Maintenance Team Member (5/2003 - 2/2010)
Mercedes Benz International, Vance, AL
I was a maintenance team member in the body shop. My job duties were to
maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the automated equipment that built the
underbody of the M Class Mercedes. I worked extensively with AB PLCs and Kuka
robotics. I was responsible for performing and closing work orders and PMs in the
SAP software system. I got daily instructions and carried out my work from the
maintenance team leader over my area and crew.
Field Service Engineer (9/2000 - 4/2003)
Deshazo Crane Company, Alabaster, AL
In field service my job was to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and start up all
types of overhead cranes. I started at Deshazo building and wiring the complete
crane control electrical panels and testing the operation in the shop. I also
extensively worked in AC and DC crane control panels. I was responsible for
every aspect of mechanical or electrical repairs and modifications on the jobs that
I was assigned. In the ladder part of my career at Deshazo I had begun to lead
and or supervise start up crane erection jobs completely. I was always working
with outside customers saling and bidding jobs to be done. I continuously had to
meet crunching deadlines and job requirements.

I completed the 2 year theoretical and hands on portion pf the program at BTI.
The core courses consisted of: Basic Electrical, Hard wired motor controls, Basic
Electronics, Electronics involving PLC and solid state devices, machine tools,
hydraulics and pneumatics, welding and cutting.
I then had to complete the 2 years on the job training aspect of the program
required by the state of Alabama to be recognized by the Alabama Labor Board
