Personal statement:

I am a hard working, enthusiastic, reliable student, I have recently completed my NVQ

level 2 beauty course at Hertford Regional College in Ware, and due to start level 3 in

September. I Have some retail experience and I am seeking any experience that you

could offer me to broaden my skills. I can adapt to different surroundings quickly and I

feel that my keen and enthusiastic approach to work would make me an asset to any

company or organisation.

I am capable of organising myself, I work well alone and also in a team. I am creative

and self motivated. I am an energetic, enthusiastic person and I set myself high standards

and like to do a job well. I take pride in my work. I am able to follow instructions and

also use my own initiative when needed. I am willing to learn new skills and welcome

new challenges.

Interests:

I was previously a marine cadet at Haringey Sea Cadets. I attendended for approximately

4 years. I have gained many certificates and badges e.g. to name a few: Cook steward 3rd

& 2nd class, marine engineering, seaman ship. I am a keen shooter and I shoot for a

national shooting competition called Bisley.
