WORK EXPERIENCE
Jack's Family Restaurant, Blountsville, AL United States 10/2008 - 12/2010
Breakfast Manager, Assistant Manager
I started out as a biscuit maker and on the grill. I was encouraged to consider going into
management and became and Assistant Manager within 3 months of working at Jack's. I
trained in most areas of restaurant operations including all areas of food prep and shift
management. I was an Assistant Manager at 3 Jack's locations. Due to family obligations I had
to step down to Breakfast Manager after a few months. As a Breakfast Manager I was
responsible for opening the store with my coworkers, counting the safe and cash drawers, and
controlling food production based on time of day. I also was responsible for putting up freight at
least once a week. I was a Breakfast Manager for about a year and a half at 2 Jack's locations.
I thoroughly enjoyed providing a quality product for people and setting my personal expectations
above those required. I experienced negative treatment from some coworkers that resulted in
my resignation. I stayed at home to care for children and my ailing grandmother-in-law, now
deceased. I am open to positions in the food service industry provided there is a positive
environment.
My last supervisor was Betty Ward. Store Manager Blountsville 205-***-****
I also had 2 weeks training with Jack's Tech Support team.

In-line Plumber
I began working here as a 2nd job between semester of college while working at Wal-mart. As
an in-line plumber I assembled and installed water and drain line connections from fixtures
(kitchen and bathroom sinks, washing machines, etc.) to the main water and drain lines. I also
installed dishwashers, garbage disposals, toilets, and shower stalls. I often had to troubleshoot
problems with incorrect plumbing before I could preform my work. I aslo participated in a
monthly inventory. This job was very satisfying for me, as I like to work with my hands. My
supervisor was Marty Moone. I believe Homes of Legend is now out of business.
