I was working at University of Colorado Hospital at CVC front office. I do phones, copays, check-in and

check-out patients, making and rescheduling appointments, patient reminders, No-show letters, reminder

phone calls, inputting information in the patients chart. I make patients packets. I am currently working

with Epic computer system, I schedule surgeries for the patient at different hospitals, I call the patients

insurance company and get authorizations for procedure.

I started on this assignment as on March 10th 2013 to 05/2013

Before that I worked at University hospital From October 2012 through March 1 st, 2013 I worked in the

back office in the Mohs surgery center at UCH, checking-in patients, rooming patient, while getting them

ready for their procedure, we did blood draws as needed for the patient, vitals to make sure the patient is

not having any issues before their procedure. I am also doing PT/ INR to make sure the patient is stable

before the procedure. Assisted in closures, after procedure is completed we would cleaned the patient

and make a pressure bandaged on the patient’s site, we also provide the patient with follow up after care

information we then explained how to take care of site while the patient is at home. Sterilizing rooms,

make sterile trays. Stocked room’s for the next day.
