Skills Gained;
Performing general ultrasound scans of the vascular system including
carotids, AAA, upper/lower arterial and venous scans and pre- op marking.
Pre-op and post op ultrasound fistula examinations, EVAR follow up as well
as working in one stop outpatient clinics. Additionally, the integration of
diagnostic data sonograms, lab results, medical records and patient history
was used for accurate diagnosis. Adapting sonographic examination as
necessary to anatomical, pathological and diagnostic information with
findings communicated to the appropriate healthcare professional.

. Preparing accurate solutions, Preparation and identification of
nucleic acids, protein isolation and separation by gel filtration,
molecular modelling and computer analysis of kinetic data and mass
spectrometry. Use of a haemocytometer, microscopic investigation,
aseptic technique and bacterial isolation and cultivation. With
particular regards to genetics, I carried out viral transduction, and
worked with transgenic model organisms.

Skills:
Over the years, I have demonstrated a great sense of responsibility,
whether it be working as a retail assistant, a genetics research assistant
or vascular sonographer. I have recently gained my experience and achieved
my qualification in vascular ultrasonography, from which I have obtained
sound anatomical and pathophysiological knowledge. Working in an NHS based
hospital, I am well aware of the demands, pressures and stamina involved.
Furthermore, I am able to manage and use my own initiative in demanding
situations, yet maintaining a professional manner, by adequate means of
listening in order to obtain accurate results. I have excellent writing,
oral and observational skills with a keen eye for detail. I have ability to
multi task, work independently as well as interdependently. Additionally, I
can proficiently use of the Toshiba Aplio XG ultrasound machine with good
knowledge of all other instrumentation. Fully capable to perform ABPI, PVR
and segmental pressures, with profound knowledge of ultrasound physics
interaction with the human body. My previous employment has allowed me to
become confident in my communication and delegation, additionally
exercising patience and empathy where required whilst keeping and emotional
distance. I believe I am efficient and organised in all aspects of my work,
