• Learned the role of a Business Analyst from the Business Analyst Book of Knowledge (BABOK). Specific
responsibilities included how to:
o Gather requirements from the internal and external stakeholders involved on a project.
o Write Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and Use
Cases with the help of MS Word, MS Visio, and MS Excel.
o Write complex SQL and MS Access queries involving multiple joins to retrieve information from the
database server to check the validity of the data.
o Create UML diagrams including Use Case, Activity, and Sequence diagrams using Rational Rose and MS
Visio.
o Prepare and execute test scripts for validating software systems in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Business Development Intern May 2012-August 2012
• Planned, organized, and managed coordination with content providers for a subsidiary of Business Growth
Strategies Inc. titled MegaVue Television Network, an interactive broadcast platform that provides a wide variety
of content to its users.
• Contacted publisher representatives and sent out press releases to potential advertisers to increase the awareness
and brand of MegaVue TV. Worked along with the head producer of MegaVue TV, 12 other employees, and a
business strategist from CNN who appraised the progress of the start-up network.
• Helped gather the business requirements for the media kit that outlined the logistics and budgets of how a
television program gets launched onto the website.

Summer Camp Counselor May 2012-July 2012
• Supervised 50+ kids between the ages of 6-12 and participated with them in summer activities and field trips.
Organized the schedule of which activities the campers and counselors would participate in each day.
• Monitored campers who were misbehaving by putting them in timeout or contacting the head coordinator if their
misbehavior got worse.
MUSEUM OF DESIGN ATLANTA (MODA) Atlanta, GA

• Worked on a proposal project for the MODA client by researching different survey templates and questions
suitable towards the customer base which consists of 100-200 visitors each day.
• Helped in the design and implementation of the survey onto a touch screen interface so that the information the
customer provides goes into a Google Doc and is transferred to MODA’s database for analysis.
• Corresponded with the Project Manager in order to gather requirements and provide deliverables that worked
towards achieving the end goal for the client.
