. Helped to develop a new strategy for cleaning the former, ineffective,

e-mail list, as well as strategy for new acquisitions for e-newsletter

Group Sales and E-Mail Marketing Manager December 2006-June 2013

Responsible for handling all group sales, as well as promotions and

marketing where group sales were concerned; responsible for managing San

Diego Symphony's young professionals group, Encore SDS, and planning

special events for groups such as receptions, meals, and student master

classes, as needed. Responsible for generating group sales leads and

overseeing all group sales direct mail and telemarketing campaigns.

Assisted the Direct Sales Department with lead generation, order

fulfillment, and all direct sales call/mail campaigns as well. Managed

the e-mail database (approximately 58,000 valid addresses large at the end

of my tenure), and directly oversaw all e-mail campaign aspects for the

company, including coding, collection and creation of collateral, and

coordination of the e-mail marketing schedule across all company

departments. Assisted with social media management (and leveraged all

social media accounts with e-mail marketing efforts), online event

listings, and online promotions. Also assisted with formulation,

advertising and distribution of print promotions, especially on grassroots

levels. Was responsible for final sales reporting of all group sales

reporting as it related to ticket sales.
