Interpret and translate for all medical, technical and support staff, as
well as patients, in a clinical and hospital setting at Texas Children’s
Hospital. Duties include interpreting on-site, over the phone,
participate in and lead department projects. Expand and improve my
knowledge by taking classes provided by the institution.
Training new department employees. Often act as patient advocate.
Translate patient education materials as needed.

Cancer Center. Duties include interpreting on-site, over the phone,
participate in and lead department projects. Expand and improve my

reviewing clinical manuals developed by our department staff (I had a
major role developing the Thoracic and Ophthalmologic manuals).

2000-2001 K-LOVE Radio Personality, Houston, TX. (Mid-days and Afternoon Drive)
As Lily Flores, I entertained and introduced the latest hits to Hispanic
listeners. I kept the commercial log and signed off on it, conducted contests
and gave away prizes as assigned. Interviewed international Hispanic stars,
made appearances representing K-LOVE and worked on live remotes. Also
recorded phone on- hold promotions for Reliant Energy.
1986-1999 Radio and TV Hostess, DJ, Announcer, Actress and Voice Talent - Miami,
Florida
TV
Throughout these years I hosted two TV medical shows: “Su Salud y CAC
Ramsey” and “Su Centro de Salud” at channel 23 (Univision). Hosted a TV
Special on Cuba’s independence from Spain in Washington D.C. Worked as
channel 23’s announcer for their community calendar as well as their
promotions. I played “La Senorita de Colores” (Santa’s helper) for channel
23’s Christmas giveaway segment, “Navidades de Colores.” Was announcer
for “TV Mujer” at Univision, as well as it’s artistic segment coordinator and
producer. Within this show, I played “La Tia Virtudes”, a nasty woman who
talked about all the dirty gossip of the most popular Hispanic artistic persona-
lities. Later on I became the voice of Gems Television (now Telemundo) and
did voice over work for MGM Latin America, as well as for Galavision.
Radio
Worked as announcer and DJ for Super Q FM 107.5. Also worked in
Commercial announcing for WQBA and substituted as hostess on “Solo
Para Mayores” as needed. Also worked at Cox Radio’s WIOD News Station.
Worked as morning show personality at FM 92. Did on-hold tele-
phone promotions for diverse companies in English and Spanish
through Audiocom.
