Responsible for the supervisory and hands-on management of all major and minor projects pertaining to GSE
diagnoses, repairs, servicing and maintenance for the entire base, as well as non-destructive testing, as required for
regular operation of the Eurofighter Typhoon T1, F2, T3 and FGR4, the Harrier GR9 and GR9A, and the Tornado
GR4, as well as WWII era Spitfires, Hurricanes, Lancaster Bombers, Dakotas and Chipmunks.
• Lead a team of NDT technicians. Performed NDT inspections on aircraft and related components. Developed
appropriate plan for inspections, evaluated inspection results and made recommendations for any necessary repairs
and further inspections.
• Managed and oversaw the base’s GSE workshop and workforce, including daily maintenance, service and
administration. Developed and implemented procedures to improve department and workforce efficiency.
