Cobham Defense Electronic Systems - Lead Procurement Specialist - April
2008-present. Negotiated contracts for best deal, highest quality of goods
and services for the lowest cost for our business unit. Interview new
vendors to examine and learn about products, services and prices. Processed
all discrepant material reports and worked directly with vendors and
quality manager for prompt resolution. Expedited all open purchase orders
and reported directly to production team and sales manager.
General Dynamic Robotic Systems - Buyer- October 2004- March 2008. Duties
to include entering small dollar commercial purchase orders into the Deltek
system. Assist senior buyers with daily open item report to include late
items. Key problem solver for all returns and repairs associated with
projects. Liaison between project managers and procurement department.
Lennar Homes- Customer Care Coordinator - Central Florida location - May
2004- September 2004. Main responsibility was resolving issues and working
with homeowners and subcontractors in a prompt and professional manner.
Direct customer contact involving three active adult communities in the
Central Florida area.
Silver Spring Citrus - Howey in the Hills, Florida - January 2004- May 2004-
Quality Assurance Assistant (temp position) - Performed tests and
measurements on citrus products to determine products meet required
specifications. Was responsible to ensure proper standards of manufacturer
goods by random inspection of product. All data collected was logged into
excel spreadsheets and reported monthly to board of directors.
Ambec Process and Controls- Executive Administrative Assistant - August 199-
October 2003. Purchasing spare parts from international vendors was my
main responsibility. All current jobs required weekly reports to determine
billing for time and materials accrued. Perform a wide range of
administrative and office support activities for the department and/or
managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the
organization.
