Dissertation Title Boron and Metal Halides in Organic Synthesis

The dissertation describes the synthetic methodology and application of five new chemical reactions utilizing both

organoboron and organoiron molecules. The reactions are environmentally benign, inexpensive to perform, produce

the intended product in upwards of 96% yield, and are applicable to relevant pharmaceutical, agricultural, and

material science targets.
