PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Project Management and Interior Design Consulting Dec 2009 – Present

Organizes and executes all aspects of interior design, project management and construction. Solely

responsible for creating proposals, programming, planning, coordinating and administering projects.

• Delivered on schedule and on budget, numerous fast track projects for a 30,000 square foot occupied

advertising agency space in New York, NY. Scope included logistic planning, schedule and budget

review, verification of existing conditions, schematic design, composite documentation, design and

coordination of existing and new woodwork, solicitation of contractor bids, meticulous field observation,

and payment review. Additional projects included meetings to discuss the parameters of office and

conference room furniture. Selected and presented new furniture options, associated budget and

analysis of new furniture product verses refurbished furniture to be shipped from an out of state location.

Most recently, prepared a proposal for interior design and project management services for renovations

to existing space due to the firms rebranding. Serino Coyne has been a repeat client of mine since

1992.

• Performed all phases of interior design and project management services from programming, planning,

selection of, and budget for furniture and finishes to project closeout for Logic Medical, LLC located in

West Berlin NJ. Project was comprised of new office space with an attached warehouse facility. Interior

architectural standards offered by the developer did not meet the needs of my client’s functional and

esthetic requirements. Developed new interior architectural layout. As a result, the new layout became

a workplace environment standard option for perspective tenants. Worked closely with the developer,

managed the trades and monitor job progress. Conducted value engineering. Project close out.

• Space planning and design development to adjoin the aforementioned space with newly acquired

adjacent space. Surveyed existing conditions and prepared Auto Cad drawings to reflect the new

conditions. Created new workspace environment, selected furniture/finish options and prepared

budgets.

• Recent proposal submission was for a prospective client in New Jersey for a twenty thousand square

foot consolidation/relocation project.

Design Services to corporations, institutions and non-profit organizations. Responsible for ensuring owner’s

• Phased consolidation/relocation and restack of 92,000 square feet of headquarters office space for CIBC

budgeting, programming and stacking. Coordinated multiple internal moves. Worked closely with IT

personnel for MAC. Managed the information flow, the deliverables and schedule. Provided monthly

financial reporting to the New York and Canada offices. The $6.4MM project completed 1 month early

and $1MM under budget.

• Designed and managed the construction of new office space for Magazine Publishers of America.

Performed all phases of the design process. Collaborated with the Real Estate Broker. Reviewed,

analyzed and prepared capital budgets for several site options. Developed and negotiated Landlord’s

work letter. Negotiated lease terms. Conducted interviews, created program report and space planning

documents. Lead systems furniture mock-up and price negotiation. Selected and specified

furniture/materials and architectural finishes. Coordinated all working drawings for bidding and

construction. Punch listed for construction and new furniture. Successfully managed an accelerated

schedule and remained within budget. The project exceeded client expectations.

• Orchestrated on time and on budget the completion of corporate office space build-outs and renovations

for Verizon. Managed and monitored construction and infrastructure upgrades. Coordinated the removal

of and installation of new and existing furniture. Worked closely with landlords, building services, end
