Globecomm Systems Inc., Associate General Counsel / Contracts Manager,
Hauppauge, NY (2009-current) Responsible for drafting, negotiating and
administering wide assortment of both FAR-based and commercial agreements,
both domestic and international, for the provision of satellite-based
communications offerings and services. Responsible for all matters
concerning the development and protection of intellectual property,
licensing of hardware and software, development and negotiation of teaming
and service agreements as well as corporate governance.
General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation, Senior Assistant General
Counsel, Groton, CT (2001 - 2008). Responsible for drafting, negotiating
and administering FAR-based government contracts for construction of
nuclear submarines as well as their overhaul and repair. Responsible for
all information technology and intellectual property matters including
patents and licensing as well as contractual aspects of commercializing our
dual use intellectual property. Assisted cross-functional teams in
developing government and commercial business cases and proposals. Drafted
and negotiated many commercial supply agreements in coordination with

NY (2000 - 2001) Responsible for negotiation of software licensing
agreements with Fortune 100 financial institutions. Left firm in
anticipation of downsizing.

providers. Duties included the drafting and negotiation of global license

Responsible for the development and commercialization of IBM intellectual

commercial and university customers. Duties included the drafting and

development agreements, licenses and CRADAs.
Personal Computing Division, Somers, NY (1993-1994): Responsible for all
legal issues relating to personal computer dealer network and relationships
with resellers. Responsible for all legal issues relating to product
pricing, promotion and distribution, including litigation, and client
counseling with particular regard to Robinson-Pitman and dealer termination
issues.
Federal Systems Division, Owego, NY (1990-1993): Provided legal support
for bidding, obtaining, negotiating and administering FAR based government
contracts and any related major subcontracts. Provided legal support for
intellectual property protection and business development. Responsible for
legal support for all personnel related matters at the plant location
during a period of meaningful downsizing. .
Corporate Headquarters, Armonk, NY (1988-1990): One of three investigators
of employment discrimination claims, nationwide. Provided legal support to
internal employee grievance process and supervised outside law firms in any
resulting litigation. Rendered additional legal assistance to field offices
in the resolution of commercial disputes and resulting litigation..
