Prostate Seed Coordinator

Responsibilities included:

• Managed and coordinated the prostate seed implant program for Northside Hospital, Northside

Forsyth, and Meridian Mark Outpatient surgery

• Ordered and received all radioactive seeds, kept full federal, state and patient required

documentation, and present in the operating room for over 2200 individual implant cases

• Conducted planometrics, preplan and post plan dosimetry on over 300 of those cases

• Managed the largest implant program in the US at that time working mainly with physicians

from Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia

• Available for patient CT simulations and daily treatments at Northside Cancer Center

Staff Therapist

• Conduct all of the necessary requirements as a staff therapist including providing daily treatments

including pediatrics, treatment planning CT simulations, emergency treatments, block cutting,

documentation, record keeping and chart checks for compliance and billing
