PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: INSTRUMENT/ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR:

As a supervisor, having a hands of experience in calibration, cable

laying, termination, erection, maintenance, loop checking, testing, pre-

commissioning and commissioning activities of various electrical and

instruments in the field of space centre, refineries, chemical, petro

chemical, Gas plant and thermal power plant, Paper mill, nuclear power

plant, Sugar mill in addition to that excellent managerial capability in

TYPICAL MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Familiar in interpreting engineering Documents & Drawing like Project

Specifications, Instrument Hook -up drawings, Instruments Data Sheets,

Junction Box & Panel Interconnection &Termination Drawings, Loop Drawings,

P&I Drawings, Instrument Index, Cable Schedule, Junction Box Schedule etc &

implement the same in various phases of the project.

Supervision of Calibration, erection, cabling, termination, loop

checking, commissioning of Remote Field instruments like pressure

transmitter, DP Transmitter, flow transmitter, level transmitter, RTD,

thermocouple, Pressure Switches, Temperature Switches, Level Switches and

Flow Switches. Experience in calibration, erection, of local instrument

like Pressure Gauges, Temperature gauges.

Supervision of Calibration, cabling, termination, loop checking

&commissioning of control valves, pneumatic Dampers, on-off actuators, I/P

converter and power cylinders .

Supervision of Impulse pipe line for transmitters, gauges and

switches in LIE & LIR. Erection of cable trays for cabling, fabrication of

Transmitter Racks and leak proof testing.

Erection and commissioning of BENTLY NEVADA,FORBES MARSHALL vibration

monitoring system for turbine, coal mills, fans and motors.

Preplanning of erection and commissioning activities of field

instruments using PID and making necessary arrangements for erection and

taking complete responsibilities for the entire erection, cabling,

termination loop checking, pre-commissioning, commissioning activities and

executing the same.

Cabling, Loop checking of various panels like DCS panel, Mcc panel,

Rcp, Ucp, Lcp, feeder control panel, Vms panel etc,and Loop checking of

analog and binary signals .Worked on co2 monitor,sox,nox,o2 analyzers,flap

gates,zero speed, pull cord&belt sway switches. Motor volts, amps, Rpm,

no load testing and checking,motor starter box erection and loop checking.

Switch yard breaker servicing, transformer maintenance, insulation testing,

earthing and switch gear servicing.Supervision of manpower,planning and

execution of work,bill making and management activities.

TECHNICAL/ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

Undergone a one year vocational training in MECHANIC AND MOTOR

ARMATURE WINDING& ELECTRICAL DOMESTIC APPLIANCES in State council for

training in vocational trade, Govt. of puducherry, during sep 98-aug 99

and secured 70% marks .

Undergone one year training in electrician and motor rewinding course

in district industries centre, Puducherry from July 2002 to June 2003.

Did SSLC in Govt higher sec school, Thirunallar, Karaikal in April 98

and secured 40.5%.
