P urchased raw materials in high volume manufacturing environment.
• Suggested reduction of HDPE resin in high volume 20 Li ter plastic pails. Saving
$60K.
• Stopped Canadian HST TAX from being charged on account payable invoices.
Requested charges to be exempt. Supplier agreed. Total savings $1,662.99.
• Saved $13K for unused closure inventory. Directed sale to one of their existing
customers .
• I mplemented dock schedule for product deliveries. Increased on time delivery, help
organize t raffic, stopped t rucks from being late.
• Tracked annual spend for UN Hazmat corrugation for Champion to recoup cost from
Kodak for testing their products. 4K-5K per year.
• Kodak Bankruptcy – negotiated and worked with comptrollers, presidents, and vice
p residents on new payment terms, payment arrangements, and release of purchase
orders on hold.
Results provided Champion more time and money to pay outstanding invoices.

Conduct monthly conference calls with management, quality managers, vendors,
a nd sales reps.
• Safe Walks – found over stock corrugate cases not showing in system. Had system
u pdated and sold cases. $4K in sales.
• Improved product quality with 2 out of 3 vendors in 2012. One vendor had 23%
i mprovement from the previous year and the other had 100% improvement.
• Pareto Quality Issues, obtained root cause corrective action from suppliers. Could
see what i tems were defective and why.
