I performed System Center Configuration Manager design/architecture,
implementation, and troubleshooting. I performed Desktop Deployment
consultation for XP/Vista/Windows 7 and Office 2007/2010. During many
consultations, I helped stand up a lab to showcase MS Best Practices
utilizing the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010 and SCCM 2007. I also deep
dived into user state migration, application compatibility, and application
packaging. I trained the IT staff and provided knowledge transfer.
I showcased the importance of the Optimized Desktop, that with Windows 7
Enterprise and the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP). This
allowed me to showcase additional technologies and setup labs for
Application Virtualization (App-V), Desktop Virtualization (MED-V),
enhanced Group Policy (AGMP), and improved diagnostic and repair (DaRT).
I was one of a handful of Windows 7 Subject Matter Experts within CDW and I
was responsible for building a Windows 7 image within the company.
Client consultations for SCCM and Windows 7 implementation and deployment
ranged from 600 seats to 75000 seats.
I have successfully designed/architected well over 30 SCCM environments
from a setup as simple as a single site server to as complex as a Central
Site with several primary sites and over 45 Secondary Sites with well over
a 100 DP/BDP. From all the designs I have architected with clients, I've
been able to successfully implement these designs on well over 80% of them.
I have successfully completed four (4) Windows 7 Production rollouts from
1200 seats to 6500 seats. Windows 7 was deployed using SCCM and the
workstations where SCCM could not be used were done using MDT.

images utilizing the SMS/SCCM Agent already present on end user's systems
or PXE boot for bare metal systems. Utilize User State Migration Tool
3.0.1 (USMT) to assist in the large scale deployment of systems to retain
user profile and user data settings/files to provide best end-user
