Project Title : MEMS Accelerometer controlled self
balancing ROBOT
Project Description : The aim of this project is to build a Robot
Vehicle that can be controlled by using wireless MEMS (Micro Electro-
Mechanical Systems) based accelerometer. MEMS is a Micro electro
mechanical sensor which is a high sensitive sensor and capable of
detecting the tilt. This project makes use of an on board computer
which is programmed with the help of embedded C instructions. This on
board computer is capable of communicating with both the input and
output modules. The MEMS based sensor detects the tilt and provides
the information to the microcontroller (on board computer) and the
controller judges whether it is a positive or negative slope.
Depending on the slope the acceleration of the robot is controlled
which is done dynamically by the controller.
MINI PROJECT
Project Title AC MOTOR SPEED CONTROL USING CELL PHONE (GSM)
Project Description : The goal of the project is to develop a
system, which uses Mobile technology that keeps control of AC MOTORS
in different applications, which executes with respect to the signal
sent by the mobile. For utilization of appliances the new concept has
been thought to manage them remotely by using mobile, which enables
the user to remotely switching and controlling of AC motor using PWM
(Pulse Width Modulation) technique. Just by dialing keypad of remote
telephone, from where you are calling you can perform ON / OFF and at
the same time we can control the speed of AC motor operation. The
ranges of appliances that can be controlled through Tele - remote
systems are many in numbers. Some of them are as follows and this
depends upon the usage priority of the appliances i.e. parking Lights,
Music System or other electrical / electronic appliances.
